KCTS 9 HD has moved!

As part of our transition to all-digital broadcasting in February 2009, we moved our high-definition channel from 9.5 (108 on Comcast cable) to 9.1 (Comcast 109) in Western Washington on Monday, September 8.

Not sure where to find HD on your tuner? Click here for our channel guide.

To find out when your favorite shows are on HD, you need only check one schedule, as every show is now broadcast in native or up-converted HD. As more of the KCTS 9 and PBS schedules go high-definition, you'll enjoy everything from The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer to NOVA, and from Masterpiece to muppets in HD.

Stay tuned for more details as we continue to work to make the KCTS 9 HD channel, and all our digital channels, better than ever.

Hello from inside KCTS 9, where we have been camped out for days reading your comments. Well, that's not quite true--we've been doing a lot of work, including reading the comments.

One comment read "I hope someone is reading our posts"--you can rest assured that we have read them all. However, our experiment with comments on this page exceeded our ability to respond in real time, resulting in a dogpile. Many of the questions that were posted have been answered in our extended FAQ. Additionally, if you posted a comment here over the past 10 days and included your e-mail address, a staff member will be getting back to you.

Finally, we want to hear all of your comments, positive, negative and neutral. We always want your suggestions for how we can improve our services. Please e-mail them to us at start@KCTS9.org so we can respond directly to you. Thank you.
